The Voices of Singapore Children's Choir was formed in 2019 by acclaimed Singaporean Conductor-Composer Darius Lim. Today, the historic Capitol Theatre is the Home of the 320-strong children's choir and boasts one of the most comprehensive music choral training programmes on the island.

With a mission of nurturing children living in Singapore to the highest levels of choral music, VOSCC is led by a team of some of the nation's most experienced and renowned children's choir pedagogues, the Voices of Singapore Children's Choir has built a progressive system of 12 different training and performing choirs that are focused on grooming some of the most talented young singers.

The choir has established connections with some of the world's best children's choirs that include the Hong Kong Children's Choir, Hamilton Children's Choir (Canada), the Berlin Children's Choir and many other top ensembles - providing opportunities for singers to be exposed to some of the world's best teaching and performance experiences. Most recently, the choir was invited to participate in the "Live From London" Festival where they performed in a concert with world-renowned group, VOCES8. Besides VOSCC, the festival featured among some of the top children's and youth choirs in the world. These include the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, VOCES8 Scholars, Canterbury Girls' Choir, German Gents and many more.

The choir has been invited to sing for the 40th Anniversary of the Speak Mandarin Campaign, graced by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and involved in recent projects such as A World Together in collaboration with HealthServe, President's Star Charity 2020, as well as the 900-Strong Singapore Virtual Choir's performance of Dick Lee's Home.

The VOS Children's Choir also works closely with the Associated Board of the Royal

Schools of Music (ABRSM) to conduct ABRSM Examinations for choirs under its wing.

The choir seeks to develop children from all walks of life as singers, individuals and performers through a holistic learning experience, placing great focus on musical development, character building and Singaporean identity.
